The next few shots were from the LoziLu Mud Run at Diamond D. Jenny, Christina, and I helped park cars for the event. Afterwards, we rode our horses through the course. I wish you guys could have seen Jenny and I going through some of the obstacles in our boots and spurs. It was quite funny. =)

In May, our dear friend Marilyn asked Cathy, KD, and me to be part of an honor guard for her son's Cinderella style wedding. It was such an amazing experience. I could be more proud of Ranger. He carried the flag like a professional.

In May, we had an adventurous ride out of Diamond D Powerlines. One of our usual water crossings was blocked by a fallen tree.

We squeezed in two rides over memorial weekend. The first was at Ralph Simmons near the FL/GA line. The other was at the new entrance to Jennings off of Long Branch Cemetery Rd with a new group of riders I found on FB.

In June, we took a trip (without horses) to Ginnie Springs. We loved it there. We will definitely make it one of our regular vacation spots.

We have been hitting open ride night at the Equestrian Center lately. Ranger is doing MUCH better. His cross firing occurs less and less. In June, we brought one of Cory's friends from swimming with us. I was so proud of all my ponies. Shelby was able to ride all 3 without issue.

Sometimes, I can get Emery and Liz to join me on a ride. It's hard for both of them because of kids and work. This ride was an interesting one. Emery started off on Ranger, but it didn't last. She thought he was too slow, so I traded horses with her. Not long after swapping saddles, Liz's horse, Monarch started acting like a fool. So... We swapped saddles and horses again. Liz appreciated Ranger's sloth pace, and I enjoyed setting Monarch straight.

Chele finally did it!!! After looking for almost 2 years, she found her perfect match, Willy. He's an almost 3 year old buckskin with an old soul. We drove down to Ocala to test ride him.

Well, that's it for now. I will do a separate post on Cory's swimming. We have a few more weeks to relax before school starts. I am in the process of putting my new room together. This year I will be teaching Intensive Algebra. I'm not exactly sure what it is, but I sure I will do fine.
